1. Owner and scope of this policy

The services described in this policy are owned and operated by Guttrball LLC, a limited liability company formed under the laws of the United States. The registered and mailing address for legal correspondence is 2278 E 1620 S, Heber City - 84032-1578, United States (US). Guttrball LLC participates in professional, scientific and technical services as well as the design and support of integrated computer systems.

This policy governs personal information that relates to visitors to these pages, people who request a guide, people who subscribe to a service, and people who otherwise contact the team. It also governs personal information that may be shared with us inside a deliverable that you submit, such as a request that contains your account name, character details or loadout notes. Where the text uses the word company, it means Guttrball LLC, and where the text uses the word team, it refers to the people who operate CGTECHY on behalf of the company.

This policy does not govern the practices of any third party that you visit from a link on one of our pages. When you follow a link to another site, that site has its own privacy rules and we encourage you to read them before you share information there.

2. Words used in this policy

To keep this document clear, a few terms are defined in common language.

Personal information

Personal information means any data that can identify you as an individual, either on its own or when combined with other data. Examples include your name, your email address, and the phone number you use to send a message.

Services

Services means the walkthrough guides, strategy breakdowns, calculators, route material, patch analysis and onboarding material provided by CGTECHY, together with any related communication and support.

You

You means the person who reads the pages, submits a request, subscribes to a service, or otherwise interacts with the team.

Processing

Processing means any action taken with personal information, including collecting it, storing it, using it, or deleting it.

3. Information we collect

We collect only the information that is needed to respond to a request, provide a service, secure the site, and comply with the law. The categories are described below.

Information you give us

  • Contact details such as your name, your email address, and a phone number when you provide one.
  • Request content such as the subject line of your message, the body of your message, and the game details you include.
  • Subscription information such as your chosen plan, your delivery preferences and the account details you supply when you place an order.
  • Support information such as past correspondence about a guide, a revision, or a billing question.

Information collected automatically

When you open the pages, basic technical data may be recorded. This can include the type of browser you use, the operating system, the kind of device, the region where your connection originates at a broad level, the referring page, and the time of your visit. This information is normally technical and aggregated, and on its own it usually does not reveal your identity.

Information from others

In rare cases we may receive information about you from a third party who contacts us on your behalf, for example when a partner forwards a guide request that you authorised. We treat such information with the same care as information you send directly.

4. How information is collected

Information is collected in three straightforward ways.

Direct submission

You submit information directly when you fill in a request form, send an email to the guide desk, place a subscription, or reply to a support message. This is the primary way the team receives personal information.

Automatic collection

When you browse the pages, the hosting environment records routine technical data that helps keep the service secure and measure general usage. This happens in the background while you read content.

Indirect collection

The company may receive information from a payment provider when you subscribe, but only what is needed to confirm an order. Full payment card details are handled by the payment provider under its own rules and are not stored on this site.

5. How we use your information

Personal information is used for specific, limited purposes. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the services.

  • To respond to requests. Your name and email are used to send a reply to your guide request and to keep the conversation in order.
  • To deliver services. Information you provide inside a request helps the team build the walkthrough, breakdown or loadout that matches your actual situation.
  • To manage subscriptions. Account and order details are used to confirm payment, to renew a plan, and to deliver the guide material you purchased.
  • To provide support. Prior messages help the team understand the context of a revision or a question.
  • To secure the site. Technical data is used to detect abuse, block attacks and keep the pages working correctly.
  • To meet legal duties. Records are kept where the law requires the company to keep them.

Where a guide request contains information that, by itself, the team would prefer you not to repeat elsewhere, such as a private character name, that detail is used only to complete the job and is handled within the boundaries set out in the retention section below.

6. Lawful bases for processing

Where a data protection law requires a lawful reason for handling personal information, the company relies on one or more of the following grounds.

  • Consent. When you submit a form or open an account, you are asked to agree to this policy and your consent gives a clear basis for handling the information you provide.
  • Contract. When you place a subscription, information is needed to perform the agreement you entered into. Without it the service cannot be delivered.
  • Legitimate interest. Securing the site, preventing abuse, and improving the pages rest on the legitimate interest of running a stable and trustworthy service, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation. Where tax, accounting or other rules require certain records to be kept, processing is needed to satisfy that duty.

You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent affects our ability to continue a request or a subscription, and the consequences are explained when consent is withdrawn.

7. When we share information

The company does not sell, rent or trade personal information for advertising or any other purpose. Information is shared only in limited cases described here.

  • Service providers. Selected providers help run the site, handle payments, or deliver email. Each provider receives only the information needed for its task and is bound to keep it confidential.
  • Legal compliance. Where the law, a court order or a regulator requires disclosure, information may be shared to the extent required and only for that purpose.
  • Business transfer. If the company is merged, sold or reorganised, personal information may be transferred as part of the business assets, subject to this policy remaining in force.
  • Protection of rights. Information may be shared to defend the rights, safety or property of the company, its visitors, or the public where the law permits.

Unless one of these cases applies, personal information stays within the team and is never offered to advertisers or data brokers.

8. Cookies and local storage

These pages are built to be light and to respect your browsing choices. The site may use small storage files on your device for a limited set of technical purposes.

  • Strictly necessary storage that keeps a session working or records a preference such as an open menu.
  • Performance storage that measures general page usage so the team can see which guides are helpful.
  • Preference storage that remembers basic choices so you can read consistently across visits.

No advertising cookies are used on these pages, and no tracking to build a profile for ad targeting takes place. Because usage is minimal, refusing cookies may reduce some convenience but should not stop you from reading material or contacting the team. You can clear stored data through the settings of your browser at any time.

9. How long we keep information

Information is kept only as long as the purpose for which it was collected remains. General policy is described below.

Request and support correspondence is kept while the topic is active and for a reasonable time afterwards, so the team can answer a follow-up question without asking you to repeat everything. Subscription and billing records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law, which may be several years. Technical logs that record browsing activity are kept for a short period, normally long enough to investigate a security incident, and then removed or made anonymous.

When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or turned into a form that cannot identify you. If a specific retention is promised in a written agreement, that agreement governs the request in question.

10. How we protect information

The company applies reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.

  • Transport of data between your browser and the site is encrypted.
  • Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to perform the service.
  • Passwords and security tokens are stored in hashed rather than readable form where they are used.
  • Systems are kept updated and monitored for unusual activity.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While the company works to safeguard information, the absolute security of every exchange cannot be guaranteed, and you should take care when you send sensitive details over any channel.

11. Privacy for children

The services are intended for people who are old enough to enter into a contract and to make their own purchasing decisions, which in many regions means being at least eighteen years old. The services are not designed to be used by young children, and the company does not knowingly collect personal information from a child under the age of thirteen without parental consent.

If a parent or guardian believes that a child has shared personal information on these pages, the parent is asked to contact the privacy desk at the address in the final section so the information can be reviewed and, where appropriate, removed. Parents are encouraged to supervise a younger player and to review the guidance their child reads. If the company learns that personal information of a child under thirteen was collected without verified consent, reasonable steps are taken to delete it.

12. Third party services and links

These pages may contain links to stores, wikis, official game sites or tools supplied by others. A link to a third party does not mean the company controls, owns or endorses that third party. Once you leave the current domain, the privacy rules of the third party apply, and the company has no responsibility for how that party handles information.

Where the team mentions a tool or a platform inside a guide, only the information required to use that resource is shared, and any sharing follows the rules in the section on disclosure. You are always free to refuse to visit an external link, or to review the external privacy policy before revealing any personal detail there.

13. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have a set of rights over your own personal information. The company honours lawful requests wherever they arrive.

  • The right to access a copy of the personal information held about you.
  • The right to rectification to correct inaccurate or incomplete details.
  • The right to erasure to ask that information be deleted when there is no proper reason to keep it.
  • The right to restrict processing in defined circumstances.
  • The right to data portability where it applies to information you supplied.
  • The right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • The right to withdraw consent at any time where consent was the basis.
  • The right to complain to a relevant data protection authority.

To exercise any right, contact the privacy desk using the details in the final section. The company will respond within the time allowed by law and may ask for proof of your identity before acting on a request, to make sure the information is not released to the wrong person. Some rights are limited where the law sets a reason to keep data, for example to complete a purchase or satisfy a tax rule.

14. International data transfers

Guttrball LLC is based in the United States of America, and the technology that runs these pages may store or process data in other regions, including in the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your request and any related information may be transferred to, and processed in, a country whose data rules differ from your own.

Where such a transfer happens, the company applies reasonable safeguards to keep the information protected in line with this policy. By submitting a request you understand that delivery of the service can involve this kind of transfer, and you accept that the practices here describe the standard of care applied wherever the data travels.

15. Automated decision making and do not track

The services do not use automated decision making that produces legal or similarly significant effects based solely on your personal information. Guide requests are read, scoped and answered by people, not by an algorithm.

Some browsers send a signal called do not track. Because the site already avoids advertising tracking and keeps usage collection minimal, no separate rule is engaged when a do not track signal is received. The minimal technical data that keeps the site secure is collected regardless of such a signal, as that data is needed for the operation of the service rather than for profiling.

16. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect new services, changes in the law, or improvements in the way the site runs. When a change is made, the date at the top of this page is revised, and the updated policy is posted here.

If a change is significant, such as a new purpose for using personal information, the notice will be made more prominent so you are aware before the change takes effect. Material that follows this policy is delivered on the version of the policy that was in force at the time the information was provided, and continued use of the services after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.

17. Contact about privacy

Questions, requests and notices about privacy should be sent to the company using the contact details below. The privacy team will respond and will treat your matter confidentially.
